This is a pleasant fiction, isn't it?

First off, you may be wondering, “What the fuck is an aglet?”
Well, an aglet is the little plastic thing at the end of your shoelace.

So, with that prelude, here we go to the bulk of the post (taken from my Facebook account which was originally posted on September 29, 2009)

There is no such thing as starting over brand new. Even if you make a decision to sever yourself from your past, you’re still cutting a string; there’s the frayed end of where you’ve separated.
And if you make the aglet at the end, others will wonder, “I wonder where the other part is? How bad could it have been for him to attempt to separate himself?”
And you will always be reminded that you have something trying to hold you together. And sooner or later, the aglet will crack and break, and your frayed, fragile end will be once again revealed.
You must either repair the aglet and perpetuate the cycle, or let yourself unravel entirely.

Was going to upload a streaming file…but apparently you can’t until you buy a space upgrade starting at 19.97 USD. Bastards. And Youtube isn’t helping either…can’t find a streaming file anywhere. Torrents are good though…

  2. See, when I was writing this originally, I called it a looplet, then thought, “That’s not right…what IS it called?”

So Google helped me out, and then I realized, “No one uses the word aglet… Great.”
